19 months

Ha!  You thought we were done with the wedding pictures - you are SO wrong!  We've been busy (obviously).  But now we're back.  And here we are married for 19 months.  We've been married for TWO Christmases and it has been wonderful!

These lovely photos are courtesy of my Aunt J.

Here we are coming out of my other Aunt J's house... It's a series...

Taking a quick rest at the table with my special bear grass only centerpiece.  Thanks for remembering Cousin M!

Keeping the kids (and adults) out of trouble.

Apparently Cousin P is a laugh a minute.

My awesome Brother W adding our our temple photos to the slide show he did for us.

My reception shrug.  I love the pattern.  And the pink.  And the sparkly.

My parents doing a million things.  They are the best!

This was a bit staged, but I really did put our cake topper on and I really was nervous that I would wreck the cake.

Another series.  There were a lot of cameras.  I'm pretty sure we were both looking at different ones most of the time...

Cousin N and Uncle J did SO many things.  They deserve a refreshing beverage.

I love this whole group!

I'm so glad the photobooth was popular.

And you know there's more where that came from next month!

Check out the other months if you missed anything: four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, 11, the whole wedding, a year!, 13, 14, 15 and 16.

P.S.  T and I are moving to Washington D.C. next month for T's new job!  We are crazy excited for our next adventure!

T's family - more than a little late

Over the summer T's family took family pictures.  Yes, I am aware that summer was technically six months ago.  But better late than never.  Here they be:

These lovely photos were taken by Bennett Norton.

Grandma's visit to baby M

This is S's mom.  I recently spent a week with J and L and new baby M.  It was great fun. Lots of baby holding and cuddling and visiting.
In the "tent" in his car seat.

He really does smile.

He so knows his Dad and Mom.

First visit with Santa.  L's mom made these great outfits.

Merry Christmas!

Can't wait to go back!

A Few Things

It's Christmas time!!!  And our tree is amazing!  This picture doesn't do it justice.

This ornament is my parents', but they let me have it because I love it so much.  Thanks, Mom and Dad!

I love our new ornament we picked up in Solvang.  It's pink and sparkly.  Of course I love it.

These showed up under the tree.  I'm pretty sure they are for me and not T.

Yesterday was gorgeous - 85 degrees in town and 75 degrees at the beach.  We went to Venice Beach, which we are adding to the list of things you can skip when you visit SoCal.  We saw street basketball players, skateboarders, body builders, and a grafitti wall.

But none of these things were spectacular.  Mostly we saw crappy tourist shops, degenerates, and people pushing medical marijuana.  The entire boardwalk was just full of dirty people.  I'm not just talking about homeless people (though there were many) - everyone there seriously lacked basic hygiene skills.  I hope these people don't get in the water, they would pollute the ocean.  Venice just had such an all around dirty feel to it.  Venice Beach is the last beach I would want to go to.  For the record, my favorite beach is Marina Del Rey.

After walking the boardwalk, we walked by the Venice Canals.  Most of the canals have been covered and some existing ones are pretty gross, but there are some really gorgeous stretches of houses along some parts.  It was a very different vibe.

Last night the sunset was amazing!  This one kinda looks like the apartments are on fire...
