Some things about D.C.

1. Roads are horribly signed.  Horribly.  I think it might actually be worse than SoCal. 
2. Pedestrians don't believe in cross-walks here.  They cross where ever they feel like it, regardless of oncoming traffic.
3. Milk is $4 a gallon at all three grocery stores I have visited.
4. Center turn lanes are rare.  You're not safe in the right lane (busses stopping) or the left lane (people turning left).  Just give up.  In either lane you will have to stop, even when the light is green.
5. People drive around with their hazard lights on even though they are driving normally and nothing is wrong with their car.  I have seen this multiple times.
6. Drivers license pictures are black and white, not color.  Mine looks horrible.  Really.  T's looks like a mug shot.  He looks like he has a really thick neck in it.
7. There are a lot of hard core runners around.

I'm still working on our cross country move post.  I thought we had the internet, but it died and T had to spend hours on hold to get it sorted out.  But I promise, that post is coming.  Probably tonight.  I hope.
