UTAH!!!

Last week my mom mentioned that a woman in her office had JetBlue buddy passes that expired at the end of January.  Last Friday I realized I had five days off in a row.  On Saturday I called my mom who called the woman with the buddy passes.  Saturday night I scheduled my flights.  Sunday morning I flew to Utah for $35 round trip! I was there for four glorious days.  I missed Utah so much!  I love the mountains and the freeways and my family and my family and my family and the vibe and knowing where things are and my friends and low sales tax and the snow and...

T had to work (and he worked TONS while I was gone) so he stayed in California.

I had dinner with T's family then went to a birthday party for his grandma.  T's family doesn't take tons of pictures like my family, so I felt stupid taking pictures (there were tons of people there and no one else had a camera!) and only took a few.  But I am very glad I took these.

T's mom with the twins.  These twins are only 10 days older than my sister's twins!

All of T's brothers.

Me with the birthday girl!

After the birthday party I went to my aunt and uncle's house with my parents - an old Sunday night tradition.  I forgot to take pictures!  But I still heart them.

I spent the rest of my time in Utah playing with my siblings and their kids.  So here's a bunch of pictures comin' at ya.  They are mostly of the twins because this was my first time meeting them!  They are so adorable and cuddly and soft and smile -y, just like their siblings and the rest of the cousins!

My sister's twins!  I can even tell them apart (most of the time).

This one is R.  Seriously, how cute is he?!

AHH!  It makes me so nervous when he does this!  C is only 3 months old!

Both babies!  C on the left and R on the right.

So for those of you keeping track at home, my brother and sister are twins.  That sister just had twins.  T's sister in law just had twins.  The odds are stacked.

 The parents with the twins.

Shortly after this picture, they both fell asleep with the twins.  I'm a nice sister so I'm not going to post those pictures.  It's so crazy to think that my sister and my mom both had five kids - including baby twins! - at 28.  They are both amazing ladies and wonderful moms.  I heart them!

We ate dinner and played at my brother's house.  His youngest (but not for long!) daughter loves to hide in the Christmas tree box and I joined her.

All three of us fit inside.

We threw cards into the air and tried to catch them.

I love my parents!

We also stopped by my other brother's house but I didn't take any pictures because I was afraid to make any sudden movements in front of the dog.  You think I'm joking, but I am terrified of dogs.  Another post for another day, I suppose.

  1. I'm so glad the kids have someone to play hide and seek with. Also, who knew throwing cards up in the air is the best card game? xoxo
