My Dad came to meet Baby Pippa at the end of October / start of November. He was actually supposed to arrive at the same time as Hurricane Sandy so there was a lot of changing around of flights and such. His original ticket was scheduled for the day Sandy was supposed to hit DC. Obviously, that wasn't going to work. So we he was going to come early - before the storm was supposed to hit. But that flight got cancelled. Then he was going to come two days after his original flight. But he ended up coming just one day after his original flight. All's well that ends well and such.
Be prepared for an onslaught of photos:
Waking up is hard to do.
Playing patty cake with the beat box BYU part at the end (my dad's own creation).
She never lays her head on our shoulders!
Same pose, two hours apart, different location.
My dad was nice enough to take Pippa in the morning so T and I could get a bit more sleep. What a nice guy!
Like I said earlier, waking up is hard to do!
My dad's version of Pippa's two month photo.
This is what Grandpas do best.
Getting bundled up to go out to eat (we walked).
Thanks for buying us lunch, dad!
My dad specifically planned his trip so he would be in town for Pippa's blessing.
Sorry for posting all these photos of you in your pajamas, Dad!
The only photo of all us. Pippa wasn't happy that it was Grandpa's last day.
Right before we left for the airport. I really need to work on my self-photo taking skills!
