Toys for Girls

This past Christmas T and I picked a few names from the Angel Tree.  One of them was an eight year old girl.  I thought we would get her some hair accessories and some legos.  I didn't want to get her a barbie or something like that, because even though most girls like those things, girls are also SO much more than those things.

But I couldn't find any legos that weren't ridiculous.  There were a ton of obviously boy sets, ONE girl set (ice cream shop), and NO sets of just the blocks.  And I looked all over.  A few days ago I saw this article on yahoo.  It's about a little girl who sent a letter to Lego.  Here is her letter.  All I can say is "Preach it, girlfriend!"
