Pippa Says

Pippa is into crying right now.  Not actually crying, but she's got the hang of certain emotions like happy, crying, tired, and hurt.  She always points out when other kids / babies are crying at church or the park or anywhere.  When she's crying (usually fake crying) she'll say in a sad cry voice, "Pippa crwwwying."

Last week she dropped her spoon over the side of her high chair.  "Spoon fall down.  Spoon crwwwying."  It makes me laugh because I've been known to assign emotions to inanimate objects as well (feeling like I should use Windows Media Player because it probably feels left out because I never use it.  Which is ridiculous!)

Two days ago while playing in her room - "Pippa working.  No, Pippa happy!"  That is pretty much how I feel about work, too, little girl! :)

About three weeks ago Pippa started reading to herself.  Just parts of certain pages of certain books that she has memorized.  It's pretty cute.  This one is from "Does a Kangaroo Have a Mother, Too?"  Sometimes she'll say "Lion mother? (or whatever animal it is)  Yes, of course they do.  Animal mother love.  "  But this time she was only doing part of it.  Still adorbs.
